The Review of Washington Beach Mining 6oz Bag Paydirt:
This was the paydirt I have been craving to pan! The mad man in me was interested in pitting my pan against the Washington Beach Mining black sands. Ever since I first found this seller on eBay I have wanted to battle the black sands! Now I just hope the name Cape Disappointment isn’t an omen of what’s to come.
The good thing about this paydirt is their is no classifying needed. It is all in the -30 or less classification. The bad news is all of the gold is supposed to be -100 to -300 so that means trouble. So if you don’t have the best peepers definitely buy a pair of magnifying glasses like I use (HERE) or at least a good jewelers loupe.
Let me tell you this was some of the most difficult paydirt I have ever panned. I swore ti was multiplying, as I went through it. No matter how many tablespoons i panned the pile never looked smaller. It took me several long eye crossing hours to go through this stuff, then I had to do it all over to make sure i hadn’t missed anything. I did find a lot of gold though, unfortunately it was all -100 or lower and that stuff does not budge a scale.
In the end the Cape Disappointment paydirt from Washington Beach Mining ended up being as its name suggests, a disappointment. Their just was not enough gold in this little bag to have made it worth all the work I put into panning it out. Maybe one day I will try one of the larger bags, but will use a sluice or gold cube to find the gold.
Washington Beach Mining Cape Disappointment 6oz Sample Paydirt ended with a score of 6.2 out of 10. Again the extremely low ROI of this paydirt killed it.

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
