The Review of Prospector John 2lb Raw Tombstone Paydirt:
So even after my not so great review of my Prospector John Alaska Paydirt. I was still super excited for this Tombstone paydirt, because it would be something new. Open pit mined crushed ore! That is not something you see listed too often if ever, so was excited to see and pan it out.
The first thing I noticed is how all of the material had a red dusting as opposed to the usual tan dust paydirt can get. Then I noticed how much of the material was in the over 10 classification. At least half of it was in the +10 and since this is raw paydirt with no gold added, I doubted I would find anything in it. I was right, I found no gold and that trend would continue.
I found no gold in any of the paydirt, from the +10 all the way down to the -30. Not even one tiny speck, and I checked and double checked like mad. All I found was dirt and more dirt and very dirty water. Another thing I didn’t find was black sands just like the Prospector John Raw Alaska Paydirt.
Now even though this paydirt was totally devoid of gold an black sands it did have one redeeming quality. It was extremely unique, it’s not often you get to pan crushed ore. Let alone crushed ore from the Contention mine near Tombstone Arizona. This made the fact I found no gold a little easier to bare. I also knew going into this that I might not find gold. It is one of the risks you take when you buy unprocessed paydirt.
Prospector John 2lb Raw Alaska Paydirt bag ended with a score of 5.5 out of 10. The zero ROI, slow communications and cheap bag was just too much to give Prospector John a higher score. The only saving grace was it was material I had never panned before.

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
