The Review of Prospector Matt 1lb Oregon Paydirt:
So today I am on my second bag of paydirt from Prospector Matt. Yesterday I prospected in the Virginia paydirt so today decided to prospect in Oregon. I am really hoping I get better results from this Oregon paydirt than I did with the Virginia stuff. Or at least maybe some better treasures or more silver.
One thing I will mention about this Oregon paydirt is it is damp, and I sat it out for about a month to try and dry out but for what ever reason it just wants to stay damp. So I tried to classify it out dry but it just kept clogging up the screens. In the end I had to wet classify this paydirt which was not fun.
This bag was again full of the same types of treasures, from silver bars, obsidian and foreign coins. However this time I found gold in the +10 classification so that really helped lift my spirits about Prospector Matt and his paydirt. I also noticed all of the coins were antiques, ranging from 1908 to 1932 so while they aren’t worth more than a buck or two they are cool looking.
I found a little gold in the other classifications as well which really made this a cheap fun nag of paydirt. As I was panning this paydirt, especially with the +10 material, I just kept thinking of being on a beach and digging up old pirate treasures, lol. With the old coins, the silver and the gold it just made me think of old buried treasures. Which then made me think how great these bags would be for a kid, they tend to like the larger bigger easier stuff to find.
Prospector Matt 1lb Virginia Paydirt bag ended with a score of 7.8 out of 10. While this score may seem low compared to some reviews I have done, I am not complaining, it was a huge improvement over my previous review. Plus for a $15 bag of paydirt it was a lot of fun.

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
