Lynch Mining 5lb Superstition Mountain Bag Gold Paydirt Review (

So as promised a much speedier turn around on a new review. So not only is the new review up my new site review system is up and running with about 95% of all reviews updated to the new rating system. I still need to adjust a few old reviews to the new system but will be done by Monday. The bad news is I am not happy with the new system. It is a huge improvement over the old rating system but is not set up for long-term and multiple reviews by the same seller. So I have already started working on GoldPaydirtReviews 2.0 rating system. It will be the exact same but I am going to move reviews from individual bag reviews to seller reviews. This way sellers will be rated on an average of all the paydirt they sell. That is all for a future time though, so for now enjoy the current rating system.

Well on to the review and remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel HERE so as to not miss any of my reviews.

The Review:

I admit I am a huge LynchMining fan, but with the results I have gotten who can blame me. I also have watched a lot of the other reviews on them and read all the comments here and on forums, youtube etc and see I am not alone. So when I saw LynchMining had added a new paydirt and it was unsearched I was all over it. I have been talking about wanting to buy some of their unsearched paydirt, but just haven’t had the time. This new paydirt gave me the excuse I needed to pull the trigger.

First let me say this stuff is dirty, real dirty. It is also all very very small and very very hard to pan. This to me is awesome but very time consuming. This would make great paydirt to test a miller table or gold wheel or any equipment meant for trapping fine gold. The only downside is it is dirty, so you may need to run some water through it first to clean it up some.

This paydirt was loaded with black sands, and I do mean loaded, probably 40-50% of this paydirt was black sands. This makes for extremely challenging panning but I did find gold in every single tablespoon of the under 30 I panned. So I was extremely pleased with this paydirt, it was both fun and challenging, and I had a lot of it to pan.

While the ROI did end up fairly low, a lot of that had to do with the high shipping costs. With free shipping the ROI would have ended at around 50%, or if shipping was $6.11 (price to ship the smaller LynchMining bags) the ROI would have ended at around 45%. This is definitely a bag of paydirt you want to combine ship like the unsearched Carolina paydirt I recently reviewed. Regardless of the ROI I did have a great time, in fact it gave me a full day of panning and fun.

LynchMining’s 5lb Superstition Mountain Paydirt ended with a score of 7.6 out of 10. This paydirt from LynchMining suffered from a few small flaws that lowered its score significantly. The customer service can be spotty or delayed. The high shipping cost lowered the score as well as the ROI which again lowered the score. Overall it was a fun bag of paydirt and very challenging but would only suggest buying if you can get for free shipping, or combined with other bags to increase the ROI.

This review is my opinion and my results may vary from your results. My bag may have been a bad batch or a great batch, remember no two bags of paydirt are ever the same. So please use common sense when buying paydirt from any seller. Oh and good luck and happy panning!
